Hi! I’m Andy Xiao

I’m currently unemployed cosplaying the life of a pro pickleballer (yea, that’s a thing!)... at least until my non-compete runs out on January 18, 2027

Most recently, I was an Algo Engineer at Hudson River Trading. There, I worked closely with some of the high-frequency trading teams.

I’ve also worked at Akuna Capital, LinkedIn, and Tesla (internships!). I studied computer science at Penn and minored in statistics.

Still figuring out what comes next, but here are a few random things about me:

• I have a 4yr 1mo old French bulldog named Potato 🥔
• I’m really into bass fishing (specifically freshwater fishing NOT saltwater) but don’t get to do it much these days :(
• I’ve been really enjoying going to the beach a lot this year. Beaching(?) idk, but it’s great fun! A couple of favorites: Bark Beach and Scripps Pier
• I like systematizing my life. or at least trying to
